| Top eventers choose new Champion Cobra body protector
For the first time ever, leading riding hat label Champion, is adding a cutting edge body protector to its already popular range. As a further accolade, nine of eventing's top riders - are to wear the award-winning Champion Cobra body protector throughout this year's eventing season.
Double European Champion and 2002 Badminton winner, Pippa Funnell heads up the team of nine. Pippa started wearing the Cobra body protector at Badminton – the start of her winning streak, which saw her win three international three and four star events in just one month! Alongside Pippa, Champion's 'Team Cobra' – as the group of nine are to be known – comprises British riders William Fox-Pitt, Leslie Law, Polly Stockton, Jeanette Brakewell and Graham Law and leading antipodean riders Blyth Tait (NZ), Dan Jocelyn (NZ) and Lucinda Fredricks (Aus). The riders have chosen to wear the Champion Cobra body protector because of the high degree of safety and protection that it affords, whilst at the same time offering comfort, breathability and flexibility without compromising protection.
The Champion Cobra body protector boasts a unique double channel that allows air to circulate between the body and the protector and it benefits from a Coolmax inner lining and zip front for easy fitting. These, together with single action side adjustment laces and adjustable shoulder straps, ensure that riders are kept as safe as possible. |
