All active ingredients of the product have an antiparasitic
effect with different mode of action. The veterinary
medicinal product is a broad spectrum anthelmintic
and is effective against the following species: Toxacara
canis, Toxacara leonine, Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria
stenocephala, Trichuris vulpis, Diphylidium caninum,
Taenia hydatigena, Taenia pisiformis and Echinococcus
granulosus species. In this fixed combination pyrantel and
fenbendazole act synergistically against Toxocara canis in
dogs.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Treatment of mixed infections by nematodes and cestodes
of the following species and life stages of parasite:
Nematodes:
Ascarids: Toxocara canis, Toxacaris leonina (L5 and adluits)
Hookworms: Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria
stenocephala (adults)
Whipworms: Trichuris vulpis (adults)
Cestodes:
Tapeworm: Diphylidium caninum, Taenia hydatigena,
Taenia pisiformis, Echinococcus granulosus (adult and late
immature forms)
The veterinary medicinal product is exclusively indicated
when used against gastrointestinal nematodes and
cestodes is indicated at the same time.
DOSE RATE
For oral treatment only.
The recommended dose is 1 tablet/10 kg bw (equivalent to
5mg/kg praziquantel, 14.4mg/kg pyrantel embonate and
20mg/kg fenbendazole.
For routine treatment, a single dose is sufficient.
In case of a diagnosed helminthosis, the treatment
should be repeated in 14 days. To ensure administration
of a correct dose, body weight should be determined as
accurately s possible.
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
The tablet can be given directly for oral administration or
crushed and mixed into the feed. The animal does not need
to be fasted during the treatment. For control of Toxocara
canis, nursing bitches should be dosed 2 weeks after
giving birth and every two weeks until weaning.
In some cases, deworming frequency may be higher
(lactating bitches, young dogs < 6 months of age). In such
cases consult your veterinarian in order to establish an
appropriate deworming protocol.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
Gastrointestinal disorders (vomiting and diarrhoea)
and nonspecific signs such as lethargy, anorexia or
hyperactivity can occur very rarely.
SPECIAL WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Special precautions for use in target species
Please refer to the product SPC section 4.4 & 4.5 for a
complete list of warnings & precautions.
Fleas serve as intermediate hosts for one common type of
tapeworm – Diphylidium caninum. Tape worm infestation
is certain to reoccur unless control of intermediate hosts
such as fleas, mice, etc is undertaken.
Care should be taken to avoid the development of parasite
resistance. Suspected cases of parasite resistance should
be further investigated using appropriate tests (e.g Faecal
Egg Count Reduction Test).
To minimise the risk of re-infestation and new infestation,
excreta should be collected and properly disposed of for 24
hours following treatment. Not to be used in puppies under
2 weeks of age or weighing less than 1 kg.
USE DURING PREGNANCY, LACTATION OR LAY
The safety of the veterinary medicinal product has
not been established during the early pregnancy in
dogs. Do not use in pregnant bitches during the 1st
and 2nd trimesters of pregnancy. After this time and
during lactation use only according to the risk benefit
assessment by a veterinarian. In breeding dogs use only
according to the benefit risk assessment by a veterinarian.
INTERACTION WITH OTHER MEDICINAL PRODUCTS AND
OTHER FORMS OF INTERACTION
Do not use simultaneously with piperazine compounds as
the anthelmintic effects of pyrantel and piperazine may
be antagonized. Equally, do not administer together with
organic phosphates and diethylcarbamazine.

When you register on our website or enter your shipping address during the checkout process, your shipping charge will automatically be calculated for your order. As you add items to your shopping cart, delivery charges will be calculated automatically.
Product Out Of Stock - If a product is featured on our website, it does not mean the item is in stock. If any item is out of stock, we may send the items in stock and the balance will be sent at a later date with no extra cost for delivery. Your order will dispatch within 5 days subject to stock availability. Some orders will dispatch the same day based on stock levels. Deliveries in Ireland are normally delivered the next working day after dispatch and orders outside Ireland can take up to 14 working days for delivery. It is at Orchard Equestrians discretion to send back-orders. Just because a product is featured on our website does not mean it is in stock at all times. Sometimes our suppliers can be out of stock of certain products and there can be delays in getting your order dispatched which is out of our control. We are dedicated to the best customer service possible. While we endeavour to keep good stock levels at all times, inevitably from time to time we will be unable to supply a particular item immediately and it can take longer than normal to get to you.

Returns - We will give an exchange or refund if goods are returned unused, are not damaged, in their original packaging within 14 days. You must contact us first to authorise a return. We will not accept items returned unless you contact us first. The cost to return the item is payable by the customer and any replacement sent will have our normal delivery charges applied. This does not contravene your consumer rights. All damages or wrong orders must be reported to us within 3 days of receipt of goods. Returns Form can be downloaded here.
When you shop online with Orchard Equestrian you have the right to a cooling-off period of 14 calendar days where you can withdraw from the contract and return your purchases to us. You do not have to give any reason but bear in mind you will have to pay for the cost of returning the goods. The goods must be returned in the same condition as they left our warehouse. We will not offer refunds after the 14 days have elapsed.
Goods which are made to your specifications or which are clearly personalised cannot be returned.
Items are returned at the customer's own expense and it is strongly recommended that you obtain proof of postage and/or insurance for the items posted, as Orchard Equestrian cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged items.
