We Accept Returns
A ready to use, pour-on solution. This product may be used as an aid in the control of sweet itch especially for the control of the biting insect Culicoides spp. Treatment should be started at the beginning of the sweet itch season and repeated as necessary. Once weekly should be sufficient for most horses. Contains permethrin 40mg/ml.
Whilst there isn’t a cure for sweet itch, management techniques and specially designed products can help keep your horse happy, healthy and comfortable. Z-itch is a brand UK authorised veterinary medicinal product for horses and ponies suffering from sweet itch. For the horse, Z-Itch helps prevent itchiness during the summer months, and for the horse owner, it makes life simple, requiring only one application a week!
It comes in a ready to use, pour on solution which is administered directly to the affected mane and tail areas. Treatment should be started at the beginning of the sweet itch season, and then repeated as necessary. Once weekly applications are sufficient for most horses.
DOSAGE GUIDELINES:A ready to use, pour-on solution. Z-itch should be administered at a rate of 4mg/kg of bodyweight, equivalent to 1.0ml per 10kg bodyweight up to a maximum of 40ml. - 100kg - 10ml - 200kg - 20ml - 250kg - 25ml - 300kg - 30ml - 400kg and over - 40ml
APPLICATION GUIDE: - Apply the measured dose in approximately equal proportions to the mane and rump avoiding the saddle area. - Treatment should be started at the beginning of the sweet itch season and repeated as necessary. Treatment once weekly should be sufficient for most horses. - If horses and donkeys are to be groomed, apply the product after grooming. - Do not treat the saddle area. - The product must not be applied forward of the ears. - Take care to avoid eye contact. In case of accidental splashing into the horse's eye, the affected eye should be washed thoroughly and immediately with copious quantities of clean water and veterinary attention sought.
CAUTION: Protective clothing and chemically resistant (PVC, rubber or nitrile) gloves should be worn when applying the product. Wash splashes from skin and eyes immediately.

Certain Sale items may not be covered by free delivery. Also feed and other bulky or heavy items will incur a delivery surcharge. Items like whips, shovels, jumps and forks also incur an extra charge due to their size. Our couriers charge an extra fee for such items.
Due to Brexit we can no longer ship to the UK. We still ship to Northern Ireland as normal.
European charges range from €8.95 upwards depending the weight and size of your order.

When you register on our website or enter your shipping address during the checkout process, your shipping charge will automatically be calculated for your order. As you add items to your shopping cart, delivery charges will be calculated automatically.
Product Out Of Stock - If a product is featured on our website, it does not mean the item is in stock. If any item is out of stock, we may send the items in stock and the balance will be sent at a later date with no extra cost for delivery. Your order will dispatch within 5 days subject to stock availability. Some orders will dispatch the same day based on stock levels. Deliveries in Ireland are normally delivered the next working day after dispatch and orders outside Ireland can take up to 14 working days for delivery. It is at Orchard Equestrians discretion to send back-orders. Just because a product is featured on our website does not mean it is in stock at all times. Sometimes our suppliers can be out of stock of certain products and there can be delays in getting your order dispatched which is out of our control. We are dedicated to the best customer service possible. While we endeavour to keep good stock levels at all times, inevitably from time to time we will be unable to supply a particular item immediately and it can take longer than normal to get to you.

We will ring you when your order is ready for collection. Please don't call to collect your order unless we have contacted you first. Please note that items in stock on the website may not be in stock in the store as some items are Drop Shipped from our suppliers.
Returns - We will give an exchange or refund if goods are returned unused, are not damaged, in their original packaging within 14 days. You must contact us first to authorise a return. We will not accept items returned unless you contact us first. The cost to return the item is payable by the customer and any replacement sent will have our normal delivery charges applied. This does not contravene your consumer rights. All damages or wrong orders must be reported to us within 3 days of receipt of goods. Returns Form can be downloaded here.
When you shop online with Orchard Equestrian you have the right to a cooling-off period of 14 calendar days where you can withdraw from the contract and return your purchases to us. You do not have to give any reason but bear in mind you will have to pay for the cost of returning the goods. The goods must be returned in the same condition as they left our warehouse. We will not offer refunds after the 14 days have elapsed.
Goods which are made to your specifications or which are clearly personalised cannot be returned.
Items are returned at the customer's own expense and it is strongly recommended that you obtain proof of postage and/or insurance for the items posted, as Orchard Equestrian cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged items.
