Day 1: 20 ml / Day 2: 40 ml / Day 3: 60 ml / Day 4: 80 ml / Day 5: 100 ml. 2nd week and prolonged administration: 50 ml/day is sufficient. Sprinkle over the feed for a minimum of 30 days, preferably 60 days, and can also be used daily.

What distinguishes Cavalor OilMega from other oils?
Vegetable oils from different sources contain more omega 3 fatty acids than omega 6 fatty acids and vice versa. Cavalor OilMega is a mix of different vegetable oils to provide a balanced fatty acid profile. In addition to this special mixture of vegetable oils, Cavalor OilMega contains the patented ingredient NAB (Natural Anti-Biotics). NAB is composed of ingredients that are known for their antimicrobial activities. Horses with muscle problems may benefit from the combination of Cavalor Muscle Fit and Cavalor Oilmega. Manipulating the dietary fatty acid ratio may be of benefit to modulate immunity status, sperm quality and skin condition.
Can Cavalor OilMega be used for the dietary management of colic?
Vegetable oils can be applied in the dietary management in the re-feeding of horses with colic or firm stool. However, the type of digestive disorder (and location of the colic) will determine if such strategy is advised or not. Always ask your veterinarian or nutritionist for advice. Various dietary strategies for the re-feeding of horses that have colicked can be found on the congress’s website in the proceedings of Vervuert and Coenen (2004).
Can Cavalor OilMega replace other Cavalor products (for example Cavalor Resist or Cavalor Muscle Fit)?
No, these are different products that act on different levels. Cavalor OilMega provides energy and influences the fatty acid composition and the immunity status of the animal. The NAB in OilMega may help the microflora to fight against pathogens. Cavalor Resist provides nutrients necessary to improve antioxidant and immunity status, as well as to help the horse protect itself from environmental influences that may impair its health (e.g., horses that will be subjected to international transportation or to different environments). Cavalor Muscle Fit is especially designed to provide nutrients that support muscle health and provide dietary tools to prevent fatigue. Horses with muscle problems may benefit from the combined supplementation of Cavalor Muscle Fit and Cavalor OilMega.
Can Cavalor Vitaflor 365 and Cavalor OilMega be fed simultaneously?
These products can be fed simultaneously. The ingredients work on different levels. Cavalor OilMega provides ingredients (specific fatty acids) that are beneficial to the overall health of the horse. The NAB in Cavalor OilMega has a positive effect on the intestinal flora by eleminating pathogenic bacteria. As a result, the feed is better digested and the horse’s immunity increases. Cavalor Vitaflor 365 is a pre-and probiotic combination and stimulates the function of the intestinal microflora.
Deliveries Within Republic of Ireland - Are delivered Free Of Charge for orders over €80.00. There will be a €5.95 charge for orders under €80.00.
Certain Sale items may not be covered by free delivery. Also feed and other bulky or heavy items will incur a delivery surcharge. Items like whips, shovels, jumps and forks also incur an extra charge due to their size. Our couriers charge an extra fee for such items.
Due to Brexit we can no longer ship to the UK. We still ship to Northern Ireland as normal.
European charges range from €8.95 upwards depending the weight and size of your order.
International Orders - We export all over the world.
When you register on our website or enter your shipping address during the checkout process, your shipping charge will automatically be calculated for your order. As you add items to your shopping cart, delivery charges will be calculated automatically.
Product Out Of Stock - If a product is featured on our website, it does not mean the item is in stock. If any item is out of stock, we may send the items in stock and the balance will be sent at a later date with no extra cost for delivery. Your order will dispatch within 5 days subject to stock availability. Some orders will dispatch the same day based on stock levels. Deliveries in Ireland are normally delivered the next working day after dispatch and orders outside Ireland can take up to 14 working days for delivery. It is at Orchard Equestrians discretion to send back-orders. Just because a product is featured on our website does not mean it is in stock at all times. Sometimes our suppliers can be out of stock of certain products and there can be delays in getting your order dispatched which is out of our control. We are dedicated to the best customer service possible. While we endeavour to keep good stock levels at all times, inevitably from time to time we will be unable to supply a particular item immediately and it can take longer than normal to get to you.

We will ring you when your order is ready for collection. Please don't call to collect your order unless we have contacted you first. Please note that items in stock on the website may not be in stock in the store as some items are Drop Shipped from our suppliers.
Returns - We will give an exchange or refund if goods are returned unused, are not damaged, in their original packaging within 14 days. You must contact us first to authorise a return. We will not accept items returned unless you contact us first. The cost to return the item is payable by the customer and any replacement sent will have our normal delivery charges applied. This does not contravene your consumer rights. All damages or wrong orders must be reported to us within 3 days of receipt of goods. Returns Form can be downloaded here.
When you shop online with Orchard Equestrian you have the right to a cooling-off period of 14 calendar days where you can withdraw from the contract and return your purchases to us. You do not have to give any reason but bear in mind you will have to pay for the cost of returning the goods. The goods must be returned in the same condition as they left our warehouse. We will not offer refunds after the 14 days have elapsed.
Goods which are made to your specifications or which are clearly personalised cannot be returned.
Items are returned at the customer's own expense and it is strongly recommended that you obtain proof of postage and/or insurance for the items posted, as Orchard Equestrian cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged items.
