What is a super concentrated balancer? As a world-leader and pioneer in the feed balancer market Blue Chip has always sought to develop new and innovative products with customers’ needs in mind. The ‘Super Concentrated’ Feed Balancer is the product of our tireless research and development. What we have done is pack as many of our high quality, natural, active ingredients into each pellet as possible, dramatically increasing the ratio of active to non-active ingredients. This means that your horse gets the same amount of active ingredients in one small scoop, as they would in a mug full of a regular feed balancer, and that a month’s supply is just 3kg instead of 20kg. Super concentration makes the product both easier to feed (you can feed from your hand, or mix in with their feed), easier to transport and easier to store.
Why feed a senior feed balancer? Aging is a process that affects the whole body, and that affects different parts of the body in different ways. Blue Chip’s Super Concentrated Senior Balancer has been developed to look at equine aging holistically in order to help keep your horse healthy in later life. Senior Balancer includes CushinCombo, as cushins is a an issue that can affect elderly horses. Senior Balancer contains a full joint supplements to keep horses mobile and active in later life. Senior Balancer contains digestive aids, as horses’ digestive systems become less efficient with age. As a concentrated balancer, Senior Balancer is easier to feed to elderly horses, as less bulk is needed and as it can be soaked in warm water to become softer.
Is this a complete balancer? Yes. Like all of Blue Chip’s other balancers the super concentrated balancers contain a digestive supplement, a hoof supplement, a respiratory supplement, vitamins, minerals, nutrients and oils.
For maximum benefit feed daily all year around. Can be fed on the day of competition or event. Can be fed by hand or mixed into other feeds. Introduce over 3 or 4 days commencing with half the recommended amount in the night feed. Can be fed from 3 weeks of age. Ensure your horse or pony has access to clean water. For equine use only.
Deliveries Within Republic of Ireland - Are delivered Free Of Charge for orders over €80.00. There will be a €5.95 charge for orders under €80.00.
Certain Sale items may not be covered by free delivery. Also feed and other bulky or heavy items will incur a delivery surcharge. Items like whips, shovels, jumps and forks also incur an extra charge due to their size. Our couriers charge an extra fee for such items.
Due to Brexit we can no longer ship to the UK. We still ship to Northern Ireland as normal.
European charges range from €8.95 upwards depending the weight and size of your order.
International Orders - We export all over the world.
When you register on our website or enter your shipping address during the checkout process, your shipping charge will automatically be calculated for your order. As you add items to your shopping cart, delivery charges will be calculated automatically.
Product Out Of Stock - If a product is featured on our website, it does not mean the item is in stock. If any item is out of stock, we may send the items in stock and the balance will be sent at a later date with no extra cost for delivery. Your order will dispatch within 5 days subject to stock availability. Some orders will dispatch the same day based on stock levels. Deliveries in Ireland are normally delivered the next working day after dispatch and orders outside Ireland can take up to 14 working days for delivery. It is at Orchard Equestrians discretion to send back-orders. Just because a product is featured on our website does not mean it is in stock at all times. Sometimes our suppliers can be out of stock of certain products and there can be delays in getting your order dispatched which is out of our control. We are dedicated to the best customer service possible. While we endeavour to keep good stock levels at all times, inevitably from time to time we will be unable to supply a particular item immediately and it can take longer than normal to get to you.

We will ring you when your order is ready for collection. Please don't call to collect your order unless we have contacted you first. Please note that items in stock on the website may not be in stock in the store as some items are Drop Shipped from our suppliers.
Returns - We will give an exchange or refund if goods are returned unused, are not damaged, in their original packaging within 14 days. You must contact us first to authorise a return. We will not accept items returned unless you contact us first. The cost to return the item is payable by the customer and any replacement sent will have our normal delivery charges applied. This does not contravene your consumer rights. All damages or wrong orders must be reported to us within 3 days of receipt of goods. Returns Form can be downloaded here.
When you shop online with Orchard Equestrian you have the right to a cooling-off period of 14 calendar days where you can withdraw from the contract and return your purchases to us. You do not have to give any reason but bear in mind you will have to pay for the cost of returning the goods. The goods must be returned in the same condition as they left our warehouse. We will not offer refunds after the 14 days have elapsed.
Goods which are made to your specifications or which are clearly personalised cannot be returned.
Items are returned at the customer's own expense and it is strongly recommended that you obtain proof of postage and/or insurance for the items posted, as Orchard Equestrian cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged items.
