Our renowned range of fly rugs have been carefully engineered to provide an exceptional balance of effective fly protection and extensive breathability.
The Combo Bug Buster Fly Rug is crafted from durable and lightweight sports mesh fabric. The airy construction features small holes to allow for adequate airflow and high breathability whilst preventing the access of biting insects such as flies, horseflies, and mosquitoes. This combo fly rug features a mid-height shoulder gusset, providing improved freedom of movement in the field.
An integrated belly flap is constructed into this design to maximise coverage, alongside an extended integrated neck cover which provides protection even whilst the horse is grazing. Designed with meticulous attention to detail, the neckline is cut to fall comfortably in front of the shoulder. Innovations abound with our deep-cut design, featuring a seamless rug that wraps snugly around the horse, held in place by three strategically placed low-surcingles. This thoughtfully engineered design ensures complete relief from pressure on the spine, prioritising comfort. You can experience worry-free rugging as we have mastered the art of self-righting rugs, allowing the horse to move freely without the rug slipping.
The strategically placed chest clip closures, surcingle bars, and hardware are expertly crafted from high-quality stainless steel for long-lasting functionality. The neck cover features four double-locking Velcro closures for added security. This rug is lined over the mane, wither and shoulder, with antibacterial and anti-static polyester, enhancing hygiene and comfort, promoting good coat health, and reducing the risk of rubbing.
This fly rug features a lengthened, super-sized tail flap, providing sustained protection and resisting wind-lift. Approximately 70% UV reflective, this fly rug is ideal for protecting your horse from flies and insects during warm weather. As a final touch, this fly rug includes an essential clip-on PVC coated tail strap, protected by an easy-clean coating to preserve the tail strap’s durability over time.
Deliveries Within Republic of Ireland - Are delivered Free Of Charge for orders over €80.00. There will be a €5.95 charge for orders under €80.00.
Certain Sale items may not be covered by free delivery. Also feed and other bulky or heavy items will incur a delivery surcharge. Items like whips, shovels, jumps and forks also incur an extra charge due to their size. Our couriers charge an extra fee for such items.
Due to Brexit we can no longer ship to the UK. We still ship to Northern Ireland as normal.
European charges range from €8.95 upwards depending the weight and size of your order.
International Orders - We export all over the world.
When you register on our website or enter your shipping address during the checkout process, your shipping charge will automatically be calculated for your order. As you add items to your shopping cart, delivery charges will be calculated automatically.
Product Out Of Stock - If a product is featured on our website, it does not mean the item is in stock. If any item is out of stock, we may send the items in stock and the balance will be sent at a later date with no extra cost for delivery. Your order will dispatch within 5 days subject to stock availability. Some orders will dispatch the same day based on stock levels. Deliveries in Ireland are normally delivered the next working day after dispatch and orders outside Ireland can take up to 14 working days for delivery. It is at Orchard Equestrians discretion to send back-orders. Just because a product is featured on our website does not mean it is in stock at all times. Sometimes our suppliers can be out of stock of certain products and there can be delays in getting your order dispatched which is out of our control. We are dedicated to the best customer service possible. While we endeavour to keep good stock levels at all times, inevitably from time to time we will be unable to supply a particular item immediately and it can take longer than normal to get to you.

We will ring you when your order is ready for collection. Please don't call to collect your order unless we have contacted you first. Please note that items in stock on the website may not be in stock in the store as some items are Drop Shipped from our suppliers.
Returns - We will give an exchange or refund if goods are returned unused, are not damaged, in their original packaging within 14 days. You must contact us first to authorise a return. We will not accept items returned unless you contact us first. The cost to return the item is payable by the customer and any replacement sent will have our normal delivery charges applied. This does not contravene your consumer rights. All damages or wrong orders must be reported to us within 3 days of receipt of goods. Returns Form can be downloaded here.
When you shop online with Orchard Equestrian you have the right to a cooling-off period of 14 calendar days where you can withdraw from the contract and return your purchases to us. You do not have to give any reason but bear in mind you will have to pay for the cost of returning the goods. The goods must be returned in the same condition as they left our warehouse. We will not offer refunds after the 14 days have elapsed.
Goods which are made to your specifications or which are clearly personalised cannot be returned.
Items are returned at the customer's own expense and it is strongly recommended that you obtain proof of postage and/or insurance for the items posted, as Orchard Equestrian cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged items.
